Abstract

Objective To investigate diagnosis value of dynamic contrast-enhanced spiral CT scan on solitary pulmonary nodules(SPNs).Methods Retrospective analysis of 58 cases were confirmed through pathology and clinical follow-up of solitary pulmonary nodules with dynamic contrast-enhanced spiral CT scan data. Results There was no statistically significant difference between Benign and malignant nodules in CT value 、 enhancement value and strengthen distribution of peak.On the enhanced mode, mainly malignant nodules with non-uniform reinforcement, and variety of benign nodules.High and low density in benign nodule with non-uniform reinforcement boundary clear, but malignant nodule appear as mixed distributions. In addition, point and/or bar abnormal enhanced signs was only found from malignant nodules. Conclusion Dynamic contrast-enhanced spiral CT scan can be helpful in the differential diagnosis of SPNs,but should focus on strengthening the patterns and morphological changes. The value of enhancement value and strengthen distribution of peak is limited.
