Abstract

Objective: To study the method of controlled quality for Guihuang capsule.Methods: The composition of Ramulus Cinnamomi,Radix Astragali,Radix Rehmanniae Preparata and Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei in Guihuang capsule were qualitatively identified by TLC.The content of Emodin in Guihuang capsule was determined by HPLC using external-standard quantitative method,with detection wavelength at 254 nm;C18 column was utilized and the mobile phase consisted of methanol-1% phosphoric acid(80∶20).Results: Linear relationship was acquired within the range of 2.5～25 mg/L(r=0.999 8,n=3).The content of Emodin in Guihuang capsule was 1.98%(RSD=1.7%,n=3).The average recovery rate was 100.41%(RSD=1.31%,n=9).Conclusion: The methods are appropriate with a good reproducibility and can control the quality of Guihuang capsule effectively.
