Research into Development of Math Teachers’ Teaching Concept

One main factor, which affected teachers’ teaching behavior, was their teaching concept whose shaping was partly influenced by outside environment. Reform in elementary education and implement of mathematics curriculum standard required a new teaching concept of understanding, teaching and evaluating mathematics. We found out through research that the use of new standard and new textbooks help math teachers comprehend better the teaching target, content of courses and students.
