Abstract

Objective Study on application value of tuberculosis pleural effusion by using thoracic close drainage with center intravenous catheter. Methods Our in-patients 78% cases of tuberculosis pleural effusion was divided into drainage group(31 cases),thoracentesis group(47 cases),contrast and analyze the duration, effusion quantity and degree of pleural incrassation of two groups. Results pleural incrassationof driainage group was less than thoracentesis group, the times and duration were less than another group, but duration is more, the effusion quantity of drainage with center intravenous catheter was more than thoracentesis group and few occures complication. Conclusion Thoracic close drainage with center intravenous catheter used to treat tuberculosis pleural effusion excels common thoracentesis.
