The Research of the Ye City in the Qin and Han Dynasties

The Ye City is located in the SanTai village,LinZhang Town of HeBei Province.Since being built by Qi HuanGong in the ChunQiu period,its location has never been changed.In Qin and Han Dynasties,the Ye City geographically influenced the development of Chinese history.It was the base that helped the State Qin to attack the State Zhao.It was also built in Wei State by Liu Bang,who was the first emperor of Han Dynasty.In the Emperor Ling period of Dong Han dynasty,the Ye city was the capital of YiZhou county.In Emperor Xian period,it was built by CaoCao as the capital of State Wei.From then on,the Ye city became the central city of North China.The Ye city was reconstructed and expanded by YuanShao.The arrangement of the city was very neat.It was constituted by inside and outside cities.The layout of blocks of it was similar with a chess board.Basing on YuanShao's construction,the city arrangement was improved and completed by CaoCao.The inside city was surrounded by the outside one and the main buildings were symmetrically located,following the middle line of the city.This kind of capital arrangement had big influent even to Beijing in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
