Design Overview of Baihezui Tunnel in Chongqing

Abstract

The geographical position,project overview and geology of Baihezui tunnel are introduced.The tunnel was designed according to geologic exploration data.Designs related to the internal layout boundary and construction clearance,the entrance and gate,the tunnel lining structure,the tunnel waterproof,drainage and the construction are detailed introduced.Some opinions about design and excavation construction of long tunnel in urban highway are provided.These suggestions are useful for similar engineering.
