Abstract
The Wei-Jin dynasty is an age of human's wakefulness.I have tried to study human's wakefulness by analyzing the intellectuals' image of Wei-Jin dynasties in ANewAccountofTillsofthe World.The intellectuals of Wei-Jin dynasties are so characteristic and charming in Chinese history.They deeply felt the shortness and impermanence of life and never gave up,showing strong sense of life.They pursue freedom by resisting the authority or established convention and going beyond themselves.They believe in themselves and respect others,always attaching importance to sincerity and spunkiness of the personality.The human nature's precious value of the intellectuals of Wei-Jin dynasties is the speaking witness of human's wakefulness in Wei-Jin dynasties.
