Abstract
Taboo is a common language and social phenomenon in the Chinese and English countries.However,the different taboo will be brought in different social backgrounds;different history and culture.In this paper,the author analyzes the convergence and dissimilation of English and Chinese taboo to explore the different social customs and culture.Meanwhile,it can be used in cultural and social communication.
