Abstract
In order to prove the effect of using ultrasonic – photocatalysis to deal with the chemical pollutants in water, the photocatalysis oxidation method and the ultrasonic oxidation method were used together to deal with phenol. The degradation effects of the three degradation systems were compared and the factors of pH,catalyst and time, which can affect the degradation efficiency of the ultrasonic – photocatalysis method, were analyzed to seek the suitable conditions for degradation of phenol with ultrasound – photocatalysis. The study results indicate that the degradation rate of ultrasonic – photocatalysis is higher than that of a single method, ultrasonic or photocatalysis and when the pH is between 6.0 and 7.0,the dosage of catalyst is 0.4 gram and the time is 2 hours, the degradation effect of phenol is the best.
