Achievements and Status of Literature History of Poems of the Sui Dynasty

As far as the development history of poems is concerned, the Sui Dynasty is not only a transition period, but also a period in which pioneering achievements have been achieved. It is during this period that a suggestion on reforming the boastful writing style is proposed, another hybrid of the northern and southern poetic style after China's unification comes about, the poetic tradition of the Qi and Liang Dynasties is inherited and developed, and maturity of lvshi and development of qiyangesing(a poem with mostly seven characters to a line) are promoted.
