Abstract
The distribution characteristics of naphthenic acid in crude oil were summarized.The destructive and nondestructive methods of naphthenic acid processing technology were discussed and the advantages and disadvantages of each methods were introduced.The extraction process of naphthenic acid from crude oil with high acid value and the high added-value utilization of naphthenic acid were reviewed.The analysis and prospects of macromolecule naphthenic acid were conducted.
