Abstract

Traditional methods of land use zoning has many disadvantage,such as by artificial factors and inefficiency.These characteristics determine it’s implementation difficulty for land use control,but an intelligent system for land use zoning based on GIS can compensate for this defect.According to the theory of GIS and the demand analysis of land use zoning,logical framework,database,modeling database of spatial clustering systems were studied in the paper.By means of the spatial data integration,objective function,models selection and other problem solution,spatial clustering for land use zoning system was implemented.Through a typical areas experiment of land use zoning,spatial clustering system was proved to be a smart,efficient and scientific method for land use zoning.
