Abstract

Land use zoning is an issue of both spatial classification and optimization. According to the deficiencies, such as one-fold objective, fragmented spatial relationship and result confliction of land use zoning in a traditional way, a scientific and reasonable model for land use zoning is formulated with a sound analysis of its key factors as well as the objective and restriction system of land use zoning which is able to make introduceing the new idea of applying intelligent optimization algorithms into the field of land use zoning issue feasible.
