Abstract
On the basis of the analysis of magnetic circuit and performance merits and faults of hybrid excitation synchronous machine with axial/radial magnetic circuit,four new hybrid excitation claw-pole synchronous machines with axial/radial magnetic circuit were proposed.Their magnetic circuits and topology characteristics were given and analyzed deeply.Three-dimensional finite element method had been employed to calculate the air-gap magnetic flux of various field currents.The analysis and calculation results indicated that the four new structure hybrid excitation claw-pole synchronous machines had better field-regulation performance.Among the four machines,the asymmetric stagger PM hybrid excitation claw-pole synchronous machine had best field-weakening performance,meeting the need of the wide speed-regulation range of synchronous motor.
