Abstract

Objective To analyze the incidence of urinary tract infection in diabetic patients and the clinical relative factors. Methods Retro-spective studies were conducted in 137 patients with diabetes who suffered from urinary tract infection. Results (1)The incidence of urinary tract infection in diabetic patients was 16.06%;(2)The older the diabetic patients, the higher the incidence of urinary tract infection (P 0.01);(3)The incidence of urinary tract infection was correlated with gender of diabetic patien(tP0.01),with the incidence in female higher than that in male;(4)urinary tract infection was significantly correlated with the course of diabetes(P0.05);(5)urinary tract infection was significantly correlated with the blood glucose of diabetes(P0.05). Conclusion Patients with diabetes are easily susceptible to urinary tract infection, and urinary tract infection is significantly correlated with age, gender, blood glucose and course of diabetes.
