Abstract
Objective To verify the effectiveness and safeness of the domestically produced moclonemide(MCL)in the treatment of depression.Method Under double-blind control,patients in MCL group and imipramine group were assessed with HAMD,HAAM,SDS and SAS for improvements and TESS for side-effects.Result Twenty patients(ten paris) completed the 4-week clinical research.In both MCL and imipramine after treatment were statistically significant(P0.01)while differences between the two groups were not(P0.05).Conclusion MCL is an effective and safe antidepressant.
