Service function assessment of river health based on plateau river ecosystem:A case study of Bahe River

【Objective】 Under the premise of the river ecosystem health assessment,the river ecosystem services funltion in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,was studied for rational planning and development of the river.【Method】 Evaluation index system of the plateau characteristics of river health assessment index system and service functions were constructed on the basis of defined plateau river ecosystem health,functional connotation,and river health was graded five standards as excellent,good,medium,poor and very poor.On the basis of the analysis of river health and their service functions,a healthy river ecosystem service function evaluation model was contructed and model instance was validated in the bar on the river in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.【Result】 Bahe River ecosystem health and functional value were assessed.The value of river health indicators service functions was less considered due to a decrease of 2.844×108 yuan/year.【Conclusion】 The health of river ecosystems and its service functions were closely related.River health can protect the river to provide human service functions,development and utilization of water resources to ensure river health within.
