Examination and analysis of opportunistic and regional HPV subtypes

Abstract

Objective To investigate the significance of human papilloma virus(HPV) infection and type distribution in out-patients at high-risk of HPV infection.Methods The HPV-DNA typing test was performed in 1480 women with eye-existence of chronic cervicitis,suspected cervical condyloma acuminata or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)change,of which 655 cases with colposcopy parallel colposcopy pathological examination of cervical biopsy.Results The HPV-positive rate was 50.9%(754/1480),singleinfected was 34.9%(516/1480),multiple infection was 16%(238/1480).The highest infection rate was 32.4% in the type HPV16 and the order of infection rate over 5% was type HPV11HPV 58HPV31 HPV33HPV 6.The HPV-positive rate in 655 cases received colposcopy was 55.3%(362/655),single-infected was 37.1%(243/655),multi-infection was 18.2%(119/655).HPV-positive patients were vulnerable to cervical high-level lesions(CINⅡ and CINⅢ) and cervical cancer (P0.05),while there was no significant difference in happenng high-level CIN and cervical cancer between single-infection and multi-infection women(P0.05).In 362 cases of HPV-positive patients,more CIN and cervical cancer occurred in the single high-risk subtypes and various high-risk subtypes infection than the others(P0.05).Conclusion The HPV infection rate in the high-risk out-patients of our hospital was 50.9% with common types of HPV16,11,58,31,33 and 6.Detecting the high-risk HPV subtypes is of great significance in screening the CIN change and cervical cancer.
