Abstract
At the turning point of Ming and Qing Dynasties,catholic missionaries came to China and opened a new chapter in East-West cultural exchange.Through the descriptions of Chinese culture,missionaries introduced the oriental ancient civilization of China to the west and formed a unique Chinese culture view.This article holds that the formation of missionaries' Chinese culture was mainly due to individuals,organizations,nationality,purpose of missionary work,missionary activities and other factors.
