On the Reasons Why Modern Western Agricultural Science & Technique Could Not Applied Well in the Late Qing Dynasty

Since the late Qing Dynasty,the modern western agricultural science and technique was introduced into China.After the New Policy,there came a new tide of paying attention to agriculture.Where permitted by the condition,new-styled agricultural schools and experiment farms were set up.The modern western agricultural science and technique was sent to the farmers.Achievement was gained,but the achievement could not change the whole agriculture of China.The reasons were of the condition and of the modern western agricultural science and technique itself,including politics,economy,population,thoughts,base,theories,practice,translation and so on.Though not so perfect,the pioneers' work in the introduction and spread benefited our modern agriculture.
