Abstract
Promoting the integration of the urban and rural areas is a fundamental way to reduce and even eliminate the differences between urban and rural areas,achieve comparative prosperity and build a harmonious society.Base on the understand of the outstanding manifestation of differences between China's urban and rural areas and the judgment of the factors restricted the integration of urban and rural areas,this paper considers that we should advance the integration of urban and rural areas from the perfection of four mechanisms to achieve the goals of the equality in policy,the complement in industrial development,the consistence in national treatment and the fair enjoyment of the fruits of civilization and progress between rural and urban areas
