Abstract

ObjectiveTo explore the masculine and feminine characteristics and complete Sex Role Scale for Chinese. MethodsDifferent ratings between males and females on each of the QZPAS with total of more than 4000 subjects were calculated, and Masculine and Feminine subscales were then established. ResultsMasculine and Feminine subscales consisted of six factors and 25 items, respectively. Sex stereotypes were then distinguished as undifferentiated, feminine, masculine, and androgynous. ConclusionMasculine and Feminine characteristics was found stable and consistent with previous research.
