Abstract

Active red printing and dyeing wastewater was treated with Fenton agent.Factors including reaction time,temperature,H2O2/FeSO4 mol ratio and pH were investigated to evaluate the influence on removal efficiency of colority and COD.Results indicated that removal efficiency of color and COD increased with the extension of reaction time and increase of temperature, with optimum reaction time of 20min,reaction temperature of 50℃,pH 4.5 and H2O2:FeSO4 of 1:3.1.The method is efficient, simple and easy, without any secondary pollution.
