An Analysis of Problems in and Suggestions for Safeguarding Educational Sovereignty in Sino-Foreign Educational Partnerships

Abstract

Educational sovereignty must not be infringed as an important part of state sovereignty. After China's entry into WTO, it becomes an essential issue in dealing with the relationship between safeguarding educational sovereignty and promoting Sino-Foreign cooperation in running schools. After analyzing some cases in which China's educational sovereignty was threatened, the present paper offers some suggestions.
