The dacryocystorhinostomy preoperative assessment significance of lacrimal sac-type B ultrasonic examination

Objective To investigate the type B ultrasonic of lacrimal sac examination on the implementation of lacrimal sac nasal anastomosis the value of preoperative assessment.Methods 103 cases(112 eyes) lacrimal sac nasal cavity anastomosis in patients with clinical data retrospective were analysed,including 86 cases(95 eyes) of chronic dacryocystitis,9 cases(9 eyes) with traumatic dacryocystitis,8 cases(8 eyes) with nasolacrimal duct obstruction which the probing of the lacrimal passage was failed.Results In 103 patients(112 eyes),there were 100 cases(109 eyes) which the chamber size of lacrimal sac consisted with B type ultrasound imaging examination,only 3 cases(3 eyes) were not accord with B type ultrasound imaging examination,the coincidence rate was 97.32%.Conclusion Lacrimal sac type B ultrasonic examination has important value of lacrimal sac nasal anastomosis preoperative assessment.
