Abstract

J2EE is a architecture of distributed environment which was put forward by SUN Enterprise. EJB is the foundation of developing Web based enterprise application programs which base on the J2EE(Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition),and EJB architecture is the main distributed module model which build the transactional application programs. This article introduce the basic conception and characteristic of J2EE and EJB,and specialize an example which under J2EE to use EJB technology to develop multi-tier and distibuted database system.
