Abstract

EJB is the foundation of developing web based enterprise application programs which bases on the J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition), and EJB architecture is the main distributed module model which builds the transactional application programs. The basic conception and characteristic of EJB are introduced. An example of developing multi-tier and distibued database system that based on the EJB technology is specialized.
