Abstract
The roof control design in mined field is the key to roof control and the movement rule of roof terrane is the basis of the roof control design.According to themaintainingprinciple of combined roof,the characteristic and rule of roof separation,caving and collapse of the mined face in 3 Coal of Liuquan Colliery by numerical simulation with RFPA2D.Thus,the rational working resistance of supports and supporting spacing in mining face are confirmed,the roof fall accidents of pressing,caving,pushing reduce farthest and good economic benefit is obtained.
