Research on the Relative Factors of Post-stroke Depression

Abstract

Objective:This research was done to study the prevalence and multiple correlation factors of post-stroke depression in the first stroke acute phase.We expect to provide some help of early diagnosis and treatment of post-stroke depression.Methods: Research program: Case-control study was used.Results:In the PSD patients' serum,5-HT density was lower than that of the non-PSD,and had a positive correlation with the degree of depression,which can provide a scientific basis for treatment.The lesion location in left hemisphere of the brain has a higher morbidity than that in the right hemisphere.Conclusions:Post-stroke depression is a common complication of cerebral apoplexy.Most PSD patients are mild and moderate,with many related factors.
