Abstract
The advanced manufacturing industrial agglomeration is associated with the development of professional and technical personnel agglomeration and producer services agglomeration. In this paper,by utilizing location entropy index and empirical analysis which is based on the provincial data in China,it is proved that the agglomeration of professional and technical personnel is beneficial to the advanced manufacturing industrial agglomeration.Meanwhile, the growth of regional income level and existence cost will have different impact on the formation of agglomeration in various areas.Especially, the development of advanced manufacturing industrial agglomeration in the developed areas of east China is not limited by the pressure of labor cost.On the contrary, with the increment of local general income level, the development of advanced manufacturing industrial agglomeration will be reinforced. However, the development of advanced manufacturing industrial agglomeration in the less-developed areas of west China is restricted by the pressure of labor cost. The producer services industries agglomeration has strong positive relationship with advanced manufacturing industrial agglomeration. Therefore, the development of advanced producer services agglomeration, which includes logistic transportation and financial services, could build up the strength of the advanced manufacturing industry.
