Research on the Evolution of Industrial Agglomeration Degree in Henan Province: Implication for the Settlement of Carrying on Industrial Transfer

Analysis the impact of the carrying on industry transfer by industry agglomeration degree in four areas:1)industry agglomeration can generate agglomerate economic effects,attract similar companies;2)industrial agglomeration can bring more and related upstream and downstream enterprises to enter;3)industry agglomeration will attract high-quality workers to ease the labor shortage problem in the industrial transfer;4)industrial agglomeration can effectively reduce the cost of industrial transfer.EG index model was used to measure the industry agglomeration degree of agriculture-forestry-animal-husbandry-fisheries,mining,manufacturing,electricity,energy supply,construction,logistics,IT industry,finance,real estate industry of Henan Province during 2000-2009.Three rules were found:1)agglomeration degree is stratified significantly;2)it has significant laws of changes at agglomeration degree in the past five years;3)the industrial development in Henan Province is in low level.Then,four proposals were put forward:1)the measures should taken actively to improve the agglomeration degree of manufacturing industry and IT industry and improve the combined advantages of industries;2)to attract the company of seven industrial naturally relying on existing agglomeration advantages;3)to develop industrial agglomeration of high grade and improve the industrial agglomeration degree further;4)to use industrial agglomeration area intensively and build a complete industrial chain.
