Geological characteristics of Fozichong Pb-Zn deposit in Guangxi

Abstract

Fozichong ore field is a rare case in strata-bound Pb-Zn deposits in south China or even in the whole territory of China.The geological characteristics of the deposit are unique,and it shows that the mineralization of lead and zinc is closely related to hydrothermal sedimentation genetic stratified viridian rocks.Therefore,Fozichong ore field is a typical case in south China,which is worthy of systematic research and summary on its unique geological characteristics.Based on comprehensive research on historical literatures and field surveys and data,the author summarizes the geological characteristics of Fozichong deposit and elaborates on genesis of the deposit.
