Abstract
The energy-saving effect for existing residential building is analyzed, based on an energy-saving project for existing residential building in Tangshan, comparing and analyzing the data through acquiring the building heat and indoor temperature before and after retrofitting in two heating seasons. The energy simulation software DeST-h is utilized to analyze the building energy consumption before and after retrofitting. The result shows that the transformation for insulation of the external envelope structure of existing residential building has a direct effect to energy efficiency, and also can increase the household indoor comfort.
