Abstract
The Anaerobic-aerobic Integrative Baffled Bioreactor were used for treating potato starch wastewater, which is a kind of high concentration of organic wastewater.Latex materials were used as carriers filled in aerobic pond to support the growth of microorganisms. The results indicated that the COD concentration in the effluent was less than 200mg/L and the maximum removal efficiency of COD was up to 98% under the following operation conditions:temperature,25~35℃ and pH 5.0~8.5.The NH3-N concentration in the effluent was around 10mg/L and the removal efficiency of NH3-N was up to 74.7%.
