NEW SPECIES OF CHINESE YAMATAROTES UCHIDA (HYMENOPTERA: ICHNEUMONIDAE, ACAENITINAE)

The present paper gives the descriptions of 3 new species of the genus Yamatarotes Uchida, from Hubei, Yunnan and Sichuan Provinces, two type specimens of Yamatarotes nigrimaculans and Yamatarotes yunnanensis arc deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Siuiea, and a type specimen of Yamatarotes undentalis is preserved in the Ti-anjin Museum of Natural History.Yamatarotes nigrimaculans sp. nov.(fig. 1)Male: Front wing 12 mm long. This species is closely related to Yamatarotes chishinensis chishinensis Uchida and Yamatarotes chishinensis grahanii Momoi, but diffrent from the both as follows: vertex densely and irregularly punctated; metapleurum with coarsely engraved stripes; the back-base of propodeum without clear median longitudinal carina and shallow median longitudinal hollow; the body light-yellow, the base ofabdominal tergites 2-7 black.Holotype , Luding Co. Sichuan Province, 1550 m, 25 VII. 1982.Yamatarotes yunnanensis sp. nov. (fig. 2)Male: Front wing 11.5 mm long. This species resembles Yamatarotes evanidus. Momoi and Yamatarotes chishinensis grahami Momoi, but may be separated from the former by its propodeum without clear areola; inetapleurum coarsely wrinkled, and from the latter by its interantennal earina of frons not extending downward onto face; not convexity sharply pointed at top in hind lateral corner of mesosternum; the apical transverse carina of propodeum. not strongly ridge-shaped, and from the both species by the middle of apical transverse carina of propodeum interrupted; the base of all abdominal tergites without black.Holotype , Yiliang Co. Yunnan Province, 2160 m, 20. V. 1982.Yamatarotes undentalis sp. nov. (fig.3)Female: Front wing 10-11 mm long. This species is similar to Yamatarotes chishi-nansis chishinensis Uchida and Yamatarotes chishinensis gralwmi Momoi but differs from the both in: IOD is 0.8X OOD; interantennal carina of frons not extending downward onto face; the apex of mandible blunt and not toothed; intereubitus based of second recurrent vein, the distance between both is 0.7-0.8 X long of the former.Holotype 9, Shennongjia- Hubei Province, 26.
