Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical application value of cystatin C(Cys-C),fibrinoge-n(Fg) and C-reactive protein(CRP) levels in early diabetic nephropathy(DN) patients. Methods Seventy four patients were divided into 3 groups according to urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),the normal albuminuria group(NA),the microalbuminuria group(MA) and the clinical proteinuria group(P),observed the levels of Cys-C,CRP and Fg in 3 groups and 30 healthy cases(control group). Results Cys-C,Fg and CRP were significantly higher in diabetic group, and the level increased gradually with illness progresses, there were significantly of Cys-C,Fg and CRP in NA,MA,P groups(P 0.05);Cys-C,Fg and CRP were signicantly increased in MA and P groups compared with NA and control groups, especilly in P group(P 0.05).Conclusion The levels of Cys-C,Fg,CRP can be used for reference indexes in early diabetic nephropathy.
