Abstract

Objective To investigate serum cystatin C( Cys- C) and high sensitive C reactive protein( HS CRP) in diagnosis of early type 2 diabetic nephropathy( T2DN) diagnostic value. Method 109 cases with type 2 diabetes mellitus( T2DM) patients, according to the 24 h urinary protein excretion rate( UAER) level were divided into pure T2 DM group of 61 cases and 48 cases in T2 DN group; 56 healthy subjects were selected as control group, the serum Hs- CRP,Cys- C levels were measured in three groups. Results In group DN,Cys- C,h S-CRP were significantly higher than that of the control group and DM group( P 0. 05); DM group of Cys- C,h S- CRP compared with the control group( P 0. 05),DN group,Cys- C,h S- CRP single index detection positive rate were higher than that of DM group, the positive rate of combined detection were higher than that of Cys- C,h S- CRP single index detection positive rate( P 0. 05). Conclusion The serum Cys- C and Hs- CRP can be used as one of the early diagnosis of DN sensitive index, joint detection can help to timely and accurately to improve the positive rate.
