Abstract
The vibration analysis of a scooter is performed using modal test method and numerical simulation technology. The modal characteristics of engine suspension system and other motorcycle systems are tested and calculated, and the methods to control the vibration of this motorcycle are put forward and carried out.The test and calculating results indicate that the dynamic characteristic of the motorcycle systems has great influence on its vibration amplitude, and show that the method combined the modal test technology with the numerical simulation method can be used to effectively and quickly find out the basic reasons for the motorcycle vibration, and the effective control method can be accordingly performed to control the motorcycle vibration.
