Abstract

Among the application systems based on Gigabit Ethernet, memory copy is an additional system overhead between the core system and the application program, which is also one of the key factors impacting on processing speed. In order to optimize the communications network, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the transmission performance at Gigabit rate. It places emphasis on comparing several existing Zero-Copy technologies. With RDMA technology,Gigabit network is designed in the transmission envi-ronment. At last, this system effectively solved the transmission bottleneck in Gigabit network with RDMA technology.
