Abstract

The basic characteristic of Satre’s historical dialectics is totalisation, which is different from total or totality.Sartre’s historical dialectics are based on both individuals and the society as a whole.According to Sartre, historical dialectics originated from the practice of the people who were dominated by their own corporality, while natural dialectics are only an analogy to historical dialectics. He acknowledges the existence of subjective dialectics as well as objective dialectics while considering the former as a chance for the latter.
