Abstract
This experiment was conducted to study the effects of solid-state fermented rapeseed meal to replace part of soybean meal on growth performance,immune function and digestive enzyme activity of broilers.One hundred and eighty 1-day-old Arbor Acre broilers were randomly divided into 3 treatments with 6 replicates in each treatment and 10 broilers in each replicate.Broilers in soybean meal control group were fed a corn-soybean basal diet and broilers in rapeseed meal group and fermented rapeseed meal group were fed experimental diets which part of 25% soybean meal was replaced with the unfermented rapeseed meal or the fermented rapeseed meal by equal nitrogen.The experiment lasted for 6 weeks.The results showed that the average daily gain(ADG) in fermented rapeseed meal group was significantly higher than that in rapeseed meal group(P0.05),and the ADG in fermented rapeseed meal group was higher than that in soybean meal control group(P0.05).At 21 days of age,spleen index,thymus index and the activities of protease,amylase and lipase in duodenum,jejunum,ileum and cecum in fermented rapeseed meal group were significantly higher than those in soybean meal control group(P0.05);at 42 days of age,the spleen index in rapeseed meal group was significantly higher than that in soybean meal control group(P0.05),the activities of protease,amylase and lipase in duodenum,jejunum,ileum and cecum in fermented rapeseed meal group were significantly higher than those in other groups(P0.05).It is concluded that replaced 25% soybean meal with fermented rapeseed meal by equal nitrogen can improve the growth performance,immune function and digestive enzyme activity of broilers.
