Psychological intervention on depression and anxiety patients with coronary heart disease

Abstract

Objective Coronary heart disease(CHD) is known as the psychosomatic disease at present.Psycho-society factor is strongly associated with the development,progress and prognosis of CHD,especially depression and anxiety.The aim of this article is to study the psychological intervention on the patients of CHD with depression and anxiety.Methods 102 cases of CHD with depression and anxiety were randomly divided into two groups:the simple drug treatment group(the control group),psychological intervention and drug treatment group(psychological intervention group).Both groups were scored by SDS,SAS and SCL-90 before treatment and three weeks later.Clinical effects were evaluated when the patients were discharged.Results There was no significant difference of SAS,SDS and SCL-90 scores between the two groups at the first time.The SAS,SDS and SCL-90 scores of psychological intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group when re-evaluation was conducted after three weeks(P0.05).Conclusion Psychological intervention had good therapeutic effect to CHD with depression and anxiety.
