About Music by Qing Zhu: a Poetic Heaven

Abstract
The idea that music is a language from heaven has been very controversial since it had been put forward by Qing Zhu(1893-1959),a contemporary musician and composer,in his About Music,a masterwork about music aesthetics.After a careful analysis,the author of this article has pointed out that Qing Zhu,by this poetic expression,has expatiated on the nature of music.Music is a language of heaven because it is an expression of soul-one's inner world which has been considered as mysterious as heaven.
