Critical Reading Ability in Teaching College English

Critical reading is an important way to improve the reading comprehension and critical thinking of college students.This paper first probes into the definition of critical reading,then clarifies the relationship between critical reading and critical thinking and finally discusses ways to foster critical reading strategies among students in teaching college English.
