Abstract

Eileen Chang's novels are the legends which differ from the mainstream at that time, that is to say,grand narrative. Eileen Chang's novels, not only demonstrate the absurdity of world and cruelty of life,but also implicate spacetime consciousness,which is gorgeous and desolate.The style of Eileen Chang's novels have a close relationship with her unique prospective of the individual lives. That's where Eileen Chang 's novels' artistic charm of transcending time and space lies.
