Abstract

Fanpai wood drum dance,as a cultural representation,changes culturally and produces new meaning with the development of the time,evolving from ethnic group and the metaphor and symbol of their ancestors' history and memory.The representation of the culture is realized through the image of the Miao people on the one hand and on the other it symbols the cultural sign of Guizhou minority nationalities and Miao nationality,and realizes the cultural reproduction.
