Purpose To meet laboratory investigation of kidney transplantation and to establish a new kidney transplantation models in rats. Methods The transplantation was performed with end to end anastomoses of renal arteries and veins and anastomose of donor ureterocystic flap to recipient's bladder. Results The rate of success of operation is 86%. Conclusions Orthotopic kidney transplantation in rats was a stable model and could meet the study of kidney transplantation.
