A Study into the Landscape Poem by Li E

Li E,the leader poet of Zhe school in Qing Dynasty,is renowned as a landscape poet for his poems are centered around the southern landscape of Yangtze River.Among his poems,most ones depicting landscape were written,either when he traveled with his friends,or when he traveled alone,or when he retraveled a certain place.Therefore,many scenic spots,especially the ones about the Western Lake of Hangzhou,show themselves in his poems;besides,various seasons and times are involved too.The poet immersed himself in the landscape,bound up with his personality and social milieu.And a great progress had been made from the selected works to Li E as to the landscape-describing poems.
