Abstract
Objective To determine the mechanism of lung fibrosis induced by bleomycin(BLM) and the influence of captopril(CPT) on the lung fibrosis. Methods Sixty SD mice were divide into 3 groups randomly: a control group,a bleomycin treated group and a combined(bleomycin+captopril) treated group. The mice of 3 groups were executed after the 14 day treatment. The lung coefficient and pathologic histology states were recorded. Results After bleomycin treatment, the lung coefficient, degree of pulmonary alveolitis and lung fibrosis increased significantly.Captopril treatment could release the degree of lung damage and the lung fibrosis. Conclusion Captopril treatment can release the degree of lung damage and lung fibrosis induced by BLM.The mechanism may be related to the suppression of the angiotensinⅡ.
