Abstract
A method for the determination of 16 pesticide residues in water by solid-phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography with an UV detector was established. The pesticides were enriched by C18 solid-phase extraction cartridges,eluted by methanol and quantified by external standard method. Linearity was obtained in the range from 0.25 to 10 mg/L with correlation coefficients from 0.9990 to 0.9999. The average spiked recoveries ranged from 70.7% to 112.2%,and the relative standard deviations ranged from 1.6% to 12%. Detection limits of this method were from 0.01 mg/L to 0.23 mg/L.
